The Canadian Chopin Festival, to be held at the John Paul II Cultural Centre in Mississauga Ontario from February 26 to March 7 2010, promises to be one of the most significant events commemorating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Fryderyk Chopin.

The Festival will include the Third Canadian Chopin Competition which will attract outstanding young pianists from across the country and will be judged by an international jury.

In addition there will be lectures, concerts, master classes and workshops celebrating the legacy of Chopin and bringing a deeper understanding of his music to all who attend.
