A few years ago, maybe more people should feel lucky if never visited South Africa. Imagine, every time visiting the country, local immigration authorities always thrusting the stuffing should be answered:"Have you visited South Africa?" Perhaps there will be some follow-up questions that trouble if we answer ever. Now I feel lucky to have time to visit the beautiful country. If the question was re-raised, I think I'll answer that question with joy: "Yes, I have visited South Africa." There are many interesting experiences during a visit to the southern tip of this black continent. The only disappointment I experienced - and this is a very deep disappointment I did not get to visit Robben Island. A visit to Robben Island is a major agenda that I wrote so I want is visiting South Africa. For me, a former island prison that has open to the public this is not just any ordinary tourist attraction, for me this is a former prison island monument Anti-Apartheid which makes a visit there is more accurately described as a pilgrimage than a tourist.
Everyone knows, in this Robben Island Nelson Mandela spent 27 of his life in custody for the sake of upholding the attitude and struggle against apartheid. Curled for 27 years in detention rather than weaken Nelson Mandela. It actually strengthens the punishment for his opposition against the regime Apartheid that tear down South Africa for centuries. Since setting foot in the international airport of Cape Town, I really cannot wait to undergo a unique experience it. Robben Island is currently no longer function as a prison; the island is transformed into historical sights. As a tourist who is always curious about the history of the places visited, of course I had to visit this island. Robben Island tourist facilities have been managed very professionally. Starting from departure to Robben island, the tourists just buy a ticket and take turns taking a ship large enough, can accommodate up to 200 people. After arriving on the island, the tourists waiting for buses ready around the island, the bus will stop at the places that are considered to have historical significance.
